Our Leadership
Clayton Eckel
President & General Manager
Clayton joined the team as President and General Manager in 2023. Clayton was a previous General Manager for Lasership, a nationwide shipping company competing with the likes of FedEx and UPS. His previously held positions include management and operations roles with Amazon as well as Ameriprise Financial. Clayton also has previous aquatics experience through his high school and collegiate years as a Lifeguard, Pool Manager, and a Lifeguard Instructor with the American Red Cross. Clayton is a native Texan hailing from Denton while also attending college at Baylor University. He and his fiancé, live in South Austin.
Christine Greenfield has over 20 years’ experience in the aquatics industry. Christine has recruited, trained, and supervised countless aquatics professionals. She has been a Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer and Water Safety Instructor Trainer since the early 2000s. As an Aquatic Facility Operator Instructor for the National Parks & Recreation Association, she has educated a variety of professionals on pool operations. Christine’s aquatics career began in Gwinnett County outside Atlanta, Georgia. Christine managed operations for the award-winning Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation Aquatics Division for approximately 15 years. She and her family relocated to Austin, Texas in 2021. As the Human Resources Director with Aquatic Management of Austin, she continues to maintain safe and inviting pools as well as train competent and confident staff for associations throughout Austin.
Nathan Brisbois
Service Technician

Nathan Brisbois is a native-born Texan whose roots run deep in the heart of the Lone Star State. Growing up in the Temple and Belton areas, Nathan was surrounded by numerous pools and lakes, which fostered his love for the outdoors and being near water. With several years of experience in the pool industry, Nathan has honed his skills and knowledge in pool maintenance and upkeep. Nathan’s passion for his work shines through as he strives to maintain pristine swimming environments, ensuring every pool he tends to is safe, clean, and inviting.
Tim Layton
Construction & Repair Manager

Tim joined the team in 2025 as the construction and repair manager. Tim began his career building homes in Rockport, TX for close to a decade. In 2017, he made the move to Austin where Tim led construction crews building pools, splash pads, and aquatic facilities all over central Texas. He grew up in East Texas and now resides in Round Rock with his wife and three children.
Our Safety Advisors
As part of The Pool Management Group network, our customers and employees receive the expertise of our internationally renowned Safety Advisors, Dr. Tom Griffiths and the team at Aquatic Safety Research Group. Their expertise is instilled throughout our risk reduction techniques and lifeguard training.

Dr. Griffiths was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and is a Paragon Safety Award winner for his water safety efforts. He has been awarded the National Recreation and Park Association Distinguished Aquatic Service Award for a lifetime achievement and designated a European Lifeguard Academy Friend of the Academy for significant contributions to preventive Lifeguarding. Dr. Griffiths has also been named to “Who’s Who in Aquatics- The Top 100”, and “Power 25- Top 25 most powerful aquatics professionals in the World”, by Aquatics International Magazine.

Dr. Griffiths has authored more than 300 papers that have been published in scientific, professional and popular journals. He is an external reviewer for the American Red Cross Swimming and Diving publications.

Our parent company, The Pool Management Group, and the 16 other companies in The Pool Management Group support Aquatic Management of Austin in our operations. In fact, the employees at headquarters don't run any pools directly. Instead, they're solely dedicated to assisting the various locations in our family of companies.
